• It’s necessary to present the passenger’s ID when purchasing bus tickets and for boarding. This can be the Honduran or Guatemalan Cedula, Honduran Social Security card (IHSS), or Passport.
  • For International trips Honduran ID, Passport, or Guatemalan ID are required.
  • For International trips, Hondurans under age 21 must travel with passport and a legal letter signed by both parents according to law.
  • All minors must travel with documentation (Hedman Alas supports and honors the treat made in UNICEF), and according to law with passports for international travel.
  • Each passenger has the right to travel with one minor under 4 years of age for free. This only applies for national Honduran trips. No seat will be assigned to the child and they must travel on the passengers lap. For trips with 2 or more minors under 4 years old it is necessary to purchase additional seats. For International trips, all minors under 4 years of age (including babies) must pay 75% of the price of the regular ticket and a seat will be assigned to them, this is the law.
  • The 25% discount for seniors citizens and disabled people only applies for Honduran citizens and residents that present proper documentation (ID) according to law.
  • If you havent purchased a bus ticket you must arrive at our terminal at least 45 minutes before departure to purchase it. If you already have a bus ticket you arrive at our terminals at leaast 30 minutes prior to departure time.
  • If you don’t arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time, we reserve the right to sell your seat to another passenger and you will be charged 50% of the value to renew your ticket to depart on the next bus.
  • Passengers can bring one handbag or personal item that does not exceed 9 inches in Height by 22 inches wide, and a maximum weight of 20 lbs.
  • Every passenger is allowed 2 suitcases. Each additional piece of luggage, and boxes will incure a Lps. 95.00 charge based on its weight and volume. They will be considered Encomiendas (Shipping)
  • We do not allow liquids in your luggage, unless you have special authorization from Adminitration. This is done to prevent damage to other passengers  luggage, in case of spills.
  • We reserve the right to inspect your luggage, and we cooperate with national police forces when we suspect illegal activities.
  • No guns are permitted on our premisses or buses at any time.
  • Traveling under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances is not allowed.
  • For International trips, there is a $2.00 charge at El Florido customs on trips between Honduras and Guatemala.
  • We recommend bringing a jacket, as the buses are climate controlled.
